Where to shop in LILLE?

Lille is a prime shopping destination, with a wide variety of stores ranging from large chain stores to small independent boutiques. Whether you’re looking for designer clothes, local products or souvenirs, here are some tips for shopping in Lille during the Rugby World Cup.

Shopping centers

For an all-in-one shopping experience, visit one of Lille’s many shopping centers. Euralille, located near the Lille Europe train station, is one of Europe’s largest urban shopping centers, with over 120 stores and restaurants. Other notable shopping centers include Centre V2 and Centre commercial Englos Les Géants.

Rue de Béthune

Rue de Béthune is one of Lille’s main shopping streets. This pedestrian street is lined with numerous fashion, shoe and jewelry boutiques, as well as department stores such as Fnac and Printemps.

Old Lille

Vieux Lille, with its cobbled streets and charming Flemish-fronted houses, is an ideal place for a relaxed day’s shopping. Here you’ll find a multitude of independent boutiques selling everything from designer clothes to local produce.

Markets

Lille’s markets are also a great option for shopping. The Wazemmes market, one of the largest in France, is a veritable maze of stalls selling everything from clothes to fresh produce. The Vieille Bourse market, located in one of Lille’s most beautiful squares, is renowned for its second-hand book and vinyl stalls.

Local products

For typical Lille souvenirs, consider buying local products such as bière du Nord, cheese (especially Maroilles), Maison Méert waffles and speculoos. The Terre de Brume boutique in Vieux Lille offers a wide range of regional products.
